What a silly name for a dish! It is so silly and unique that Lena used to ask me to test if I am her real mom, just in case an evil woman may have disguised herself as me… “What is the name of a pasta dish with bacon, garlic, and Italian herbs?” “Passerpateou.” Phew! “OK, you’re my real mom.” Sometimes a simple dish like this can be something you absolutely crave for. Enjoy making it! Ingredients : Thin spaghetti 1lb. Bacon, cut in 1/2inch thick 1 tablespoon olive oil 3 cloves of garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon dried Basil  1/2 teaspoon dried Oregano  Directions : 1. Boil water in a large pot. Add enough salt to taste, like sea water 2. Heat a large pan and cook bacon until crispy. Take the bacon out onto paper towel. Set it aside.              3. Discard 2/3 of the bacon grease. Add olive oil to the pan. Cook garlic and the dried herbs over low heat. You can add dried red pepper, if you like.  4.
